A Dinner Party, You Say?

Now that we've gotten that out of the way...

 

Saturday, June 25th, the 176th day of the year 2022 on the Gregorian calendar, let's dine together in my home.

I know the way I worded that previous sentence makes it sound like there will be a blood sacrifice, but those really went out of style in the '00s.

 

Instead, I was thinking more of a scallops/pasta thing.  Maybe a risotto?  Not sure yet, and open to requests.  Does anyone want a dessert?  Maybe cream puffs.  It's been a while since we've had cream puffs.  When I say "we" I'm obviously referring to the two versions of me in the above picture.  I don't know when the last time any of you had a cream puff was.  You could be eating one right now.  I mean, it doesn't look like it from where I'm standing, but if you could just leave your curtains pulled back a little more in the evenings, it would really make it easier for me to track your dining habits.

So yes.  Saturday, June 25th.  Shall we say... 6:30pm?  Knowing full well that when you get here I will be scrambling and sweaty?  Ok.
